Hazrat Baha-ud-din Zakariya (R.A) also known as "Baha-ul-Haq" was a distinguished Sufi saint; he died in 1268 (A.D) and his mausoleum (Darbar) is located in Multan. He descended from the lineage of Asad Ibn Hashim, and was hence a Hashmi. His father, Shah Kamal-ud-Din Ali Shah Qureshi (R.A), came from Mecca to Multan where he was born around 1170 A.D in Kot Kehror a town near Multan. The legendary Haq Char Yaar, or "Four Friends" group, which is highly respected & celebrated among the South Asian Muslims, Baha-ud-Din Zakariya was part of it along with the prominent Sufis like Shahbaz Qalandar(R.A), Baba Farid-ud-din Gunjshakar(R.A) and Syed Jalalauddin Bukhari(R.A). Baha-ud-Din Zakariya(R.A) The mausoleum is a square of 51 ft 9 in (15.77 m), measured internally. Above this is an octagon, about half the height of the square, which is surmounted by a hemispherical dome. His Mausoleum is always filled with his followers and visitor who come to seek spiritual wellness.
