The Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur, near Narowal, is among the holiest sites in Sikhism, marking the final resting place of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of the faith. The original shrine was established in the 16th century on the banks of the Ravi River, where Guru Nanak spent his last years.

The current magnificent structure was reconstructed in pristine white marble, featuring grand domes and sprawling courtyards. The Kartarpur Corridor, inaugurated in 2019, allows visa-free access for Indian pilgrims, making it a symbol of peace and cross-border harmony.

The Gurdwara Darbar Sahib stands as a beacon of spiritual unity and compassion, embodying Guru Nanak’s universal message of love and service to humanity.
