Spanning over 12,000 acres, Changa Manga Forest near Kasur is one of the largest man-made forests in the world, originally planted in the 1860s by the British for timber production. Over time, it evolved into a vital ecological zone and popular recreational destination. The forest is named after two folklore bandits, “Changa” and “Manga,” adding a touch of legend to its history.
